Because of the differences in environment and life way, China passed a different way which leads from truculence to civilization with West Europe. Without destroying the clannish kin, China passed thorough truculence to civilization, and so the clannish organization could be withheld in such a long time. This special route from clan to nation means that family is the base of a nation and nation is the extension of a family. And so it made ethical morality important in establishing the social life order. Chinese traditional civilization attach importance to ethical morality all thorough the ages. Almost all the famous ideologists in every dynasty talked about the ethical morality. When we say Chinese traditional ethical morality we mostly imply the traditional ethical morality from the period before The Qin Dynasty to XinHai Revolution including the Confucianism, the Taoism and the Buddhism. And of all the three, the Confucianism is the most important one.Medicinal springboard and ultimate target are human's healthiness. Human is the object of medical research and medical ethical specialty consequentially emerged in Chinese traditional ethical morality. Every medical worker's moral behavior are not occasional, they are the embodiment in curative activity influenced by his medical ethics' level, philosophy, value, Weltanschauung and so on. Chinese traditional medicine was based on traditional civilization. The "benevolence" of the Confucianism, "with few desires" of the Taoism and "lenity" of the Buddhism all had profound ethic restriction on Chinese doctors' diathesis and behavior. When we judge of a medical behavior, we all ground our judgment on ethical viewpoint consciously or unconsciously. From this, we can see that traditional ethical civilization is the base of Chinese doctors' ethical thoughts. By analyzing doctors' ethical thoughts in traditional ethical aspect, we can observe the groundwork of Chinese doctors' ethical thoughts clearly, and it will help to regulate doctors' ethic.
