The Experience Of Medical Treatment For Neuroses By Applying "Four Methods Of Regulation For Mental Activity" Generalized By Dr. Li Kai

Objective: To organize and generalize the differentiation of syndromes of thetraditional Chinese medicine on medical treatment for the neuroses, which is based onthe experience of medical treatment which is operated by Dr. Li Kai. Methods:Organize the experience of medical treatment which is operated by Dr. Li Kai, for thedifferentiation of syndromes for roots and mechanisms, types in medical treatment,traditional Chinese medicine, acupunctures and counseling by observing the effect ofthe medical treatment for neuroses; then find out the academic characteristics of Dr.Li Kai's methods for neuroses. Conclusion: For the increase of incidence and returnof neuroses, Dr. Li Kai at first studied its incidence, roots and variation of pathology,and grasped its peculiarity. Moreover, she generalized the "four methods ofregulation for mental activity" with four types which are the soothing the liver andclearing heat of the heart, invigorating qi to replenish the heart, replenishing yin andclearing heat, and reinforcing spleen to benefit the kidney, then opened up a new vistaof the surely effective medical treatment for the series of mental sickness by usingacupuncture and traditional Chinese medicine; these are all based on the theory oftraditional Chinese medicine as a precept, and is also based on the practice of medicaltreatment process as a base. Dr. Li Kai placed a special emphasis on the importanceof psychological counseling during treatment of the series of mental sickness. As aresult of the theory for importance of psychological counseling and her experience ofmedical treatment on patients, each result of treatment on the patient had been muchbetter than ever, and its return rate also had been decreased.
