| The goal of this research is to develop a novel Hospital diet management system (HDMS) on the background of DMS developed by the Nutrition Department, General Hospital of Shenyang Military Region. Starting form practicable requirements and on the basis of analysis of problems existing in DMS in our department as well as by combination of HDMS'concept, structure with basic mechanism and method of system development, a novel HDMS was designed by our department and compiled by Shenyang Yichuang Information Technology Company, limited (here after referred as Yichuang).Purpose:To allow all the hospitalized patients to obtain the daily nutrient supply at the same time of their food reservation, the information on food reservation was put into and processed by computer. Consequently the data of DMS was output in the form of tables.Method:By use of modern high-tech information, the nearest theoretical thought of modern clinical nutrition therapy including: a table of food ingredients, supply standard, evaluation standard, rules, usage guide of nutrients was reflected in this system. Three standards of diet cost and management on military personals admitted to the hospital was created. The individuals during hospitalized enjoy theirs daily food supply under standardized diet level, without exceeding pre-designed and standardized program. The surplus will roll over to the next food reservation. The multiple operating interfaces were designed to simultaneously evaluate the intake level of nutrients and nutritional status of each hospitalized individuals in the course of completion of food reservations for each patients.Results:The data of food reservation was put into computer and processed by the computer. The diet management data was put out and demonstrated in the form of table. |
