SGJYY is develop by professor Li Youtian in Chinese traditional medical department of the first hospital of Jilin University, and After several years of clinical observation, it has predominance curative effect. For further study its mechanism of anti-MD, this experiment adoption CUMS and fed isolated to achieve replication big mice MD model, to observe and analyses every group of big mice (include normal control, model group, Bai Youjie group, SGJYY in small dose,middle dose and large doses) ethology, and use ELISA and enzymic method to determine BDNF,CHO,TG,HDL-C和LDL-C in blood serum, to study the neurotrophy hypothesis of MD and the mechanism of SGJYY to cure MD。Behavioral research on antidepressant effect of SGJYY: The chronic unpredictable intensive stimulus and separated raise were used in the experiment to make rats stress. Fluoxetine was used as a positive control medicine. SGJYY produced a significant increase in horizontal movement (P<0.05 or P<0.01), vertical movement(P<0.05 or P<0.01) , the consumption of 1% sucrose solution (P<0.05 or P<0.01)and body weight (P<0.05 or P<0.01). The experiment proves that all the groups of SGJYY have antidepressant-like effect and the big dosage group shows the outstanding effect. The results show that SGJYY has antidepressant-like effect。The effect of SGJYY to content of BDNF in serum of Depressed rats : the content of BDNF in serum of Depressed rats in the Fluoxetine group have cut down obviously, there is significant difference (P<0.01) compared to the one in normal control, SGJYY can improve content of BDNF in serum of Depressed rats in experiment , there is significant difference(P<0.05 or P<0.01)in content of BDNF in all the groups of SGJYY compared to the one in in the Fluoxetine group . The result has consistent with neurotrophy theory in etiopathogenesis of depressive disorder,and shows that SGJYY have wide effect of neuron protection and antidepressant-like effect。The effect of SGJYY to content of blood-fat in serum of depressed rats : chinese medical science considers, hyperlipoidemia is mainly because that vessel system is filled with"muudy spit"or"dirty blood".the main pathogenesis is the interties of deposited spit .so main treatment is break open the spit and promoting blood flow .
