Objective: To evaluate the forensic application of D5S818, D8S1179, D18S51 and D21sll STR loci in JiLin YanBian areas Chinese Korean, the genetic research was carried out by AmpFLP (amplification fragment length polymorphism) method.Methods: For 4 tetrameric STR (short tandem repeats) loci (D5S818, D8S1179, D18S51and D21S11) genetic research, monoplex PCR methods were established to study the allele frequency and the applicability of forensic medicine. Total 109 unrelated Chinese Korean DNA was isolated from peripheral blood using general extraction method. The amplified products were analyzed by PAGE (polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis) and visualized by silver staining. And the "PowerStats v1.2" and "Alequin 2000" programs were used for population genetic statistics.Results: The PCR products were defined by exact allelic ladder, and total 8 alleles were detected in D5S818 distributing from 131bp to 171bp, total 8 alleles were detected in D8S1179 distributing from 128bp to 168bp, total 14 alleles were detected in D18S51 distributing from 273bp to 341bp, total 12 alleles were detected in D21S11 distributing from 189bp to 243bp. And 36, 36, 105 and 78 genotypes were observed at D5S818, D8S1179, D18S51 and D21sll STR loci, respectively. The observed heterozygosities were 0.835 in D5S818 locus, 0.780 in D8S1179 locus, 0.844 in D18S51 locus and 0.716 in D21S11 locus. And there was no...
