Clinical Research On Treatment Of Binswanger Disease With Head-Acupuncture Therapy

Purpose: To stady clinical effect of Binswanger's disease in the treatment of head-acupuncture .Method: 40 cases of Binswanger disease were randomly divided into two groupsrone is the acupuncture combined with drugs and the other is the drug group ,every group was both 30 patienta. Selected Hasegawa dementia scale revised (HDS-R),the scandinarian neurological scale, Transcranial Doppler(TCD) as indexes. Compared the difference between the pre- and post therapy and difference between the two groups, to observe the therapeutic effect of acupuncture for Binswanger disease.Results: The two group were both increased in the HDS-R and decreased in the scandinarian neurological scale. The difference between the two group in these two items was obvious(P<0.05). And the difference of the HDS-R, and the scandinarian neurological scale between the two groups was obvious(P<0.05),the acupuncture combined with drugs group was better.The two groups were both improved in the Transcranial Doppler . The difference between the two group was obvious, the acupuncture combined with drugs group was better than the other group.Conclusion: to the Binswanger disease patients, the acupuncture therapeutics was contributed to raise the intelligence, the ability of daily living and social activities .And it can improve the blood supply of the cerebra. It is one of the effective therapeutics for the Binswager disease.
