Study On Congnitive Impairment Of Binswanger Disease By The Intervention Of Buyanghuanwu Decoction

Objective:To evaluate the effects of Buyanghuanwu decoction intervention of thedaily life and cognition in patients,to verify the clinical effects of invigorating Qi andpromoting blood circulation method in the treatment of BD.Method:Patients withBinswanger disease were sequentially enrolled into two groups: treatment group(n=33)with comprehensive treatment and Buyanghuanwu decoction intervention; controlgroup (n=28)with comprehensive treatment only.All subjects were tested for cognitive andfunctional abilities at the third month after the beginning of the study. All the results usingSPSS16.0statistical software.Results:The total effective rate is90.0%in treatment groupand81.4%in control group, and cognitive impairment of orientation, memory, abilities ofdaily life (ADL) showed that the treatment group was better than the controlgroup(P<0.05).Conclusions:Great benefits could be achieved on cognition and daily life inpatients with Binswanger disease by Buyanghuanwu decoction intervention.
