Chongcaoyangshen Capsule is a compounded medication, which is made up of six kinds of Chinese herbal medicines, such as Radix panacis quinquefolii, Placenta Hominis, and Fungus Cordyceps. It has been used as a proven recipe for many years in folk in Hubei province. Among these herbal medicines, Radix panacis quinquefolii has the effects of invigorating primordial energy and the spleen and nourinshing yin, which is a good medicine that restores vital energy and supports the healthy energy. In the study on quality standards of Chongcaoyangshen Capsule, the contents of ginsenoside-Rbi and cinnamic acid have been determined by HPLC and TLCS, which have provided a theoretical basis for controlling the quality of this capsule. In the study on the pharmacology, the result shows that it can strength the immunity and the ability of endurance of anoxia and anti-fatigue. In addition, the study on toxicity has showed that this preparation has no side effects and it is safe and credible.This research is creative.
