Studies On New Medicine For Qige Tongmai Capsule

Qige Tongmai Capsule is a new medicine which is being researched. It could be used to treat cervical spondylotic vertebral arteriopathy. Qige Tongmai Capsule is composed of astragalus, epimedium, dipsacus asper wall, prepared radix rehmanniae , spatholobus suberectus , panax notoginseng , pueraria lobata .The Qige Tongmai Capsule has good effects on benefiting qi and nourishing and promoting blood, activating blood and dredging collaterals. It will be used to treat diseases such as the headache and the vertigo caused by both-qi-and-blood-deficiency and congestion, dealing with both root cause and symptoms.In the study, we firstly established the preparation process, which was researched by using L9(34)orthogonal experimental design. Orthogonal experimental was analyzed with the content of astragaloside. Eight times the volume of water to extract three times, two hours is the best extraction process.The quality standards of Qige Tongmai Capsule was established . It contained examination, identification and assaying. epimedium, dipsacus asper wall, prepared radix rehmanniae , spatholobus suberectus , panax notoginseng , pueraria lobata were identificated by the methed of thin layer chromatography(TLC) which was of good stability and specificity. ELSD-HPLC was used in the quantitative analysis of astragalosideⅣby using Phenomenex ODS as chromatography column,using acetonitrile- water(34:66)as mobile phase . The flow rate of mobile phase was 1.0ml·min-1.The tube temperature of the detector was 55℃,the flow rate of atm was 2.7 L·min-1.Results:astragalosideⅣin the sample of 1.325μg ~ 10.6μg of peak area and the number of the sample showed a few good linear relationship, r = 0.9997; 72-hour stability test of the RSD% 1.34%; recovery was 101.81% (RSD = 2.05%). Conclusion:This method is accurate and reproducible.It can be used for the quality control of this drug.Finally, the pharmacological studies of Qige Tongmai Capsule indicated that it was capable of curing cervical spondylotic vertebral arteriopathy and preventing insufficiency of cerebral blood supply by improving the accumulation rate of the thrombocyte, anti-thrombosis,and changing the hemorheology.In the study, we determined the preparation process, established the quality standards, researched the pharmacological studies of Qige Tongmai Capsule. The studies are the basis for the clinical study of the new drug.
