The characteristic of comprehensive assessment methods are discussed to afford method reference in the evaluation of anticaries effect of Chinese traditional medicines. Methods TOPSIS method, Fuzzy Comprehensive Evaluation and grey relation projection are applied to the comprehensive assessment of anticaries effect of Chinese traditional medicines. Because different result appeared in the former three method, combined evaluation is applied to make the result consistent. Results (l)The results of evaluation in TOPSIS method, Fuzzy Comprehensive Evaluation and grey relation projection are consistent, which show the anticaries effect of Sodium Fluoride is best, Galla Chinensis, Radixngelicae Dahuricae and Caulis Sargentodoxae are better, Argy Wormwood Leaf and Cattail Pollen are inferior. (2)The result of combined evaluation show the order of the anticaries effect: Sodium Fluoride> Galla Chinensis> Caulis...
