Setting up uniform nursing quality evaluation criteria nationally is an effective method to ensure nursing quality in our country; it is a crucial task to improve our nursing management ability. Nosocomial infection is one of nursing-sensitive outcome indicators, so attaching importance to evaluating the effect of the control of nosocomial infection can prevent and decrease the nosocomial infection, and hence improve our nursing quality. Evaluating work is a comprehensive and high scientific management activity, which is done according to different targets and objects, setting up the evaluation criteria system scientifically is the key to success.
