Construction Of Picc Nursing Quality Evaluation Index For Children And Testing Of Reliability And Validity

Objective: To construct PICC nursing quality evaluation index for children and testing of reliability and validity,provide scientific assessment tools for children's PICC specialist care quality management,effectively reduce PICC unplanned extraction rate and the incidence of PICC related complications,and improve the quality of children's PICC specialist care.Methods:(1)Construct of PICC nursing quality evaluation index for children:through literature analysis and group discussion,and based on the three dimensional quality structure model and “infusion therapy practice standards” released by INS in 2016,and combined with children's anatomical physiology to construct evaluation index.(2)Delphi method: the3 rounds consultation were inducted among 20 experts from 6 regions across the country.(3)selecting index and setting weight: use SPSS19.0software for data analysis.The boundary value method was used to screen the indicators.The level of significance of each indicator was calculatedusing the analytic hierarchy process and expressed as weights.(4)testing the reliability and validity: selecting 91 nursing staff for children to test reliability,and test validity by 6 PICC nurses for children,and finally form the children's PICC nursing quality evaluation index.Results:(1)the enthusiasm of experts is high: Response rate of the 3rounds expert consultation were 91%,100%,100%;the results of the inquiry are consistent: the expert authority coefficient was 0.905,expert opinion Kendall harmony coefficients were 0.206,0.175,0.186,after testing were statistically significant(P<0.05).(2)PICC nursing quality evaluation Index for Children consisting of 3 first level indexes,23 two level indexes and 114 three level indexes.(3)weight results: the first level index : “process index” has the highest weight(0.3449);the two level index:the weight of “the incidence of catheter-related complication”,“regulatory rate of process management” are respectively 0.0843,0.0838.(4)the reliability and validity are high: the children PICC nursing quality evaluation index Cronbach's ? coefficient was 0.917 and CVI was 0.95.Conclusion: The PICC nursing quality evaluation index for Children is comprehensive,the concentration and consensus degree of experts' views,the credibility of consulting results,and the reliability and validity are high.It provides an effective tool for PICC nursing quality evaluation of children.
