The Clinical Study On Ankylosing Spondylitis Treated With Toxin And Blood Stasis

From clinical espial, we approve that treatment on ankylosing spondylitis (AS) with Toxin and blood stasis is an effective cure. We also intensively explore and summarize the etiological factors and therapeutic methods for AS. Baseing on the theory of TCM and clinical character and pathology and immunology of AS, we consider that the pathogenesis of AS is that the lack of congenital diathesis is immanent causation and the attack from wind ,cold ,damp ,heat and trauma is exterior inducement, and the Toxin and Blood Stasis are existent for ever. Then we adopts eliminating heat toxin, activating blood and strengthening kidney and Du Mai as the main therapeutic method. In the study ,QIANG JI decoction is taken as the test group with salicylazosulfapyridine and total glucosides of paeony as control one and with 30 subjects in each group . The results show that the controlled and effective rate in test group is 66.67% with 33.33% in control one(P﹤0.05).But the total effective rate shows no difference in two groups. In the aspect of of eliminating symptoms , the test group is superior to the control one(P﹤0.05). Others aspect of improving laboratory index and holistic function and antidestruction of bone, two groups are no distinctness. The mechanism might be relate to anti-inflammation, relieving pain, improving hemorheological index and bettering microcirculation, regulating immunological function ,etc. In such view ,it treats AS effectively in poly-side .
