ObjectiveThe purpose of this clinical TCM research is to summarize the treatment principles and methods as well as herbal formulas of the Geratologous Chronic Renal Failure, as the guideline for the clinical diagnosis and treatment.MethodAccording to the retrospect of clinical research, we chose 52 cases of Geratologous Chronic Renal Failure to take the primary statistics and analysis about the stage of Chronic Renal Failure, the primary affection, clinical manifestation, and the treatment of TCM, curative effect etc.ResultMost cases of the Geratologous Chronic Renal Failure which are distributed above the decompensation stage, mainly due to Hypertension, and Diabetes Mellitus is the second pathogeny. Most complicating diseases due to Pulmonary Infection, Heart Failure, and Coronary Heart Disease. The analyse and differentiate diseases give priority to spleen and kidney insufficiency of yang with damp turbidity and aqueous Qi Syndrome, spleen and kidney insufficiency of Qi with damp turbidity Syndrome. The treatment of that is typically using Wendan Decoction and Sijunzi Decoction. The total effective rate reaches 69.3%. Clinical menifetation integral between before treatment and after treatment is with significance difference. (P<0.001)ConclusionThe treatment of TCM is notable in abating clinical menifetation of Geratologous Chronic Renal Failure, preserves the renal function, improves the life quality of sufferers, postpones the progress of renal failure.
