| Object: To investigate and assess the clinical effects of Luteal Phase Defect by "BuChong Wan".ResuIts:This subject was based on the experience of the famous doctor Gu Xiaochi ,who treated infertility with Chinese medicine "Bu Chong Wan" for more than 20 years., using methods of random .contrast for observing and treating 70 cases of patients ; Meanwhile their ER , PR expressions were measured by immunohistochemical method and serum sex-hormone E2, P levels were measured by electrochemiluminescence method .Methods :( 1 ) 40 cases of patients with LPD were divided into treating group .The results show that : in total effect ,16 cases were pregnant, there are totally effective rate 92.5% and the control group 63.3%. Compared with the control group , there is obvious differential.(P<0.05)( 2 ) The results of mechanism: In treating group,there were 16 cases of patients whose P level was normal .their endometria's secretion condition was worse , and PR expressed significantly lower to those of fertile women (p<0.05) .but these figures got better after taking herbal medicine ,and 6 cases were pregnant .Compared with the control group , there is obvious differential.(P<0.05) .The other 14 cases with lower P and E2 , but ER, PR levels were normal .and E2, P increased obviously after treatment ,their ER PR levels had no significantly (P>0.05)Conclusion: The action of 'Bu Chong Wan "is similar to estrogen, It can regulate the function of hypothalamic-pituitary-ovarian axis , perfect the secretion of E2, P , improve the PR of endometria .And all these make the secretion get better . Also ,this study embodies the important factor of "Wen Shen Yi Jing, Bu Yi Chong Ren" method in treating LPD whose syndromes type belong to deficiency of kidney.
