[Objective] To discuss the difference of drug user's quality of life between tow group in different detoxification patterns, to exploding the risk factor of drug user's quality of life, and providing effective methods to evaluate the drug user's quality of life and scientific evidence to constituting plan to help addicts restrain from drugs. [Method] Survey drug user's quality of life of in voluntary detoxification clinic and compelled detoxification center in leshan city by questionnaire for drug user's quality of life(QOL-DA) and investigate correlative factor about drug user's quality of life of by questionnaire designed by ourselves. Using factor analysis, Hotelling T2 test, linear regression analysis and multivariate linear regression analysis to compare drug user's quality of life in tow detoxification patters and explode the risk factor of drug user's quality of life. [Result] The drug user's quality of life of in voluntary detoxification clinic got higher scores than that of addicts in compelled detoxification center. The difference was found only on the dimensionality of psychology enginery and function in society, but on the dimensionality of withdrawal syndrome and body enginery there was no difference been found. The outcome of single factor analysis in voluntary group: there were ten significant risk factors as follows: ages, occupation, marriage2, stabilized income, age of drug using beginning, confidence of detoxification, confidence of new life beginning, education degree of father, education degree of mother and harmony of family(P<0.05). The outcome of multivariate analysis in voluntary group: there were five significant risk factors as follows: ages, confidence of detoxification, confidence of new life beginning, education degree of father and harmony of family(P<0.05). In the three aspects of riskfactors in voluntary group the factors from family and society was most important(weighting coefficient 0.48), the factors from drug addiction and detoxification was secondary(weighting coefficient 0.38), the factors of individual characters was the last(weighting coefficient 0.14). The outcome of single factor analysis in compelled group: there were eight significant risk factors as follows: ages, occupation, marriage2, stabilized income, time of drug addiction, mode of drug using, folk visitation, folk sustain, education degree of mother and care from family(P<0.05). The outcome of multivariate analysis in compelled group: there were five significant risk factors as follows: stabilized income, time of drug addiction, frequency of drug using, folk visitation, folk sustain and education degree of father (P<0.05). In the three aspects of risk factors in compelled group the factors from drug addiction and detoxification was most important(weighting coefficient 0.61), the factors from family and society was secondary(weighting coefficient 0.29), the factors of individual characters was the last(weighting coefficient 0.10). [Conclusion] In order to evaluating drug user's quality of life and insuring detoxification successful, either detoxification patters should carry out the whole plan including detoxification, rehabilitation and re-entry to society. When drug users during detoxification, there were several questions must be solved: eliminating the pain from withdrawal syndrome; helping them restrain from the anxiety, black mood, fidget etc awful emotion; carrying out mentality therapy, behavior remedy and skill training; summoning the whole society especially the folk of drug users to concern and take on the addicts after them restraining from the drugs.
