Objectives To assess the quality of life of patients with systemic lupus erythematosus and explore the influencing factors of quality of life,so as to provide a theoretical basis for the improvement of their quality of life. Methods SLE patients who were hospitalized in the Department of Rheumatology of the First Affiliated Hospital of Anhui Medical University and Anhui Provincial Hospital were included during the period from 2018.04 to 2018.12 in the present study with convenience sampling.Self-made questionnaires were used to investigate the demographic data,disease-related factors of SLE patients, negative emotion and quality of life. The quality of life of SLE patients was evaluated by SF-36.SAS and SDS were used to assess anxiety and depression in SLE patients, respectively.T test/analysis of variance was conducted to compare whether there were statistical differences in quality of life between different demographic characteristics,disease-related factors, and negative emotional.Taking the scores of the eight domains of quality of life as the dependent variable, the variables with statistically significant differences in univariate analysis were included in the multiple linear regression, for exploring the influencing factors of the quality of life among SLE patients. All SLE patients who participated in the study had informed consent before completing the questionnaire.p<0.05 was considered statistically significant with two-sided test. Results A total of 152 patients with SLE were included in the study, with an average age of(36.84±11.96)years.The number of female SLE patients were 147,accounting for 96.7%.The number of SLE patients with anxiety symptoms were 39,accounting for 25.7%and the number of SLE patients with depressive symptoms were 90,accounting for 59.2%.In SLE patients, physical function(PF),physical role(RP),body pain(BP),general health(GH),energy(VT),social function(SF),emotional role(RE),mental health(MH)scores in turn were(72.6±28.1),(40.0±44.3),(67.4±29.1),(42.4±24.0),(53.7±27.0),(72.9±28.7),(55.0±47.0),(64.4±21.3).The scores of quality of life among SLE patients were significantly lower than general population(all p<0.05).The results of univariate analysis are as follows. The scores of PF of SLE patients between groups divided by the level of education, occupation, the family monthly income per capita,as well as with and without hypertension, arthritis, dysopia, anxiety and depression are statistically significant difference. The scores of RP of SLE patients between groups divided by occupation,as well as with and without hypertension, dysopia are statistically significant difference. The scores of VT of SLE patients between groups divided by age, marital status, the level of education, expense category, the course of disease,SLEDAI,as well as with and without hypertension, anxiety and depression are statistically significant difference. The scores of VT of SLE patients between groups divided by age,the level of education, the course of disease,as well as with and without hypertension, dysopia, anxiety and depression are statistically significant difference. The scores of SF of SLE patients between groups divided by the expense category, occupation, the family monthly income per capita,BMI,as well as with and without dysopia, anxiety and depression are statistically significant differences. The scores of RE of SLE patients between groups divided by occupation, the family monthly income per capita,as well as with and without hypertension, dysopia, anxiety and depression are statistically significant difference. The scores of MH of SLE patients between groups divided by the level of education,as well as with and without dysopia, anxiety and depression are statistically significant difference. There were no statistically significant differences in scores of all dimensions of quality of life among SLE patients between different gender and ethnic groups,as well as with or without lupus nephritis, leukopenia, thrombocytopenia, the reduction of ESR and proteinuria. The results of multiple linear regression analysis demonstrate that 1)The score of PF in SLE is influenced by the expense category, monthly family income per capita, hypertension, arthritis, dysopia, anxiety and depression;2)The score of RP in SLE is influenced by age and dysopia;3)The score of BP in SLE is influenced by arthritis and SLEDAI;4)The score of GH in SLE is influenced by the expense category,BMI,SLEDAI,and depression;5)The score of VT in SLE is influenced by age, dysopia, anxiety and depression;6)The score of SF in SLE is influenced by the expense category, monthly family income per capita,BMI and anxiety;7)The score of RE in SLE is influenced by the level of education, monthly family income per capita,SLEDAI and the course of disease;8)The score of MH in SLE is influenced by SLEDAI,anxiety and depression. Conclusion The quality of life of SLE patients is low and demographic factors(age,BMI,education level, economic income),disease-related factors(disease duration, disease activity, etc),and negative emotions are the factors affecting the QOL among SLE patients.
