Clinical Research On Qing Gan Antihypertension Granule (QGAG) Treating Essential Hypertension

Objective: To observe the clinical effect and primary mechanism of QGAG treating heart and liver fire syndrome of EH. Methods: Fifty five patients of EH were divided into curative group(30 cases)and control group(25 cases)at random. The curative group was treated by QGAG, while the control group was treated only by Niu Huang Antihypertension Pill(NHAP).Eight weeks was a course of treatment.The changes of blood pressure and serum ET, TXB₂ and 6-Keto-PGF₁(?) were observed before and after treatment. Results: Compared with control group,QGAG has obvious effect on lowering the blood pressure(BP),restoring blood pressure circadian rhythm,decreasing ET and TXB₂ and increasing 6-Keto-PGF₁(?) in serum,improving the general symptoms,regularing lipid and improveing hemorheolgy with statistical significance(P<0.05).Conclusion:The QGAG is a group of effective drugs treating EH.
