Clinical Study Of "Yao Xue Zhi Yang Pian" And "Xiao Yan Zhi Yang Shuang" In The Treatment Of Senile Pruritus

Objective1. To explore the therapeutic effect of "Yao Xue Zhi Yang Pian" and "Xiao Yan Zhi Yang Shuang" to treat senile pruritus in clinical trail.2. To test the blood level of SOD and MDA in patients with senile pruritus.MethodThe patients with senile pruritus were randomly divided into two groups. One group (45 patients) was treated with "Yao Xue Zhi Yang Pian" orally and "Xiao Yan Zhi Yang Shuang" for external use, the other group was taken ketotifen, VitAD, VitC, VitE orally and "Fu Bi Run" for external use. The therapy last for 2 weeks and the effect was observed each week. Before the treatment, two groups were exsanguinated to test the blood level of SOD and MDA.ResultsThe total effective rate of the group received "Yao Xue Zhi Yang Pian" and " Xiao Yan Zhi Yang Shuang " was 88.89%, the total effective rate of the comparision group was 75.56%. There was no significant difference in the total effective rate between the two groups(by chi-square test,P>0.05). The healingrate and the effective rate of the group received "Yao Xue Zhi Yang Pian" and "Xiao Yan Zhi Yang Shuang" was 82.22%, The healingrate and the effective rate of the group was 57.78%. There was significant difference in the healingrate and the effective rate between the two groups(by chi-square test,P<0.05).
