The Clinical Analysis Of 321 Cases Of Abacterial Pustulosis

Object In order to explore the regularity and mechanism of abacterial pustulosis, to make clear the diagnosis and improve the level of prevention and therapy. We investigated the crowd , the disposition and the clinical characteristics of abacterial pustulosis, analysed the clinical diagnosis and types of abacterial pustulosis and studied its relationship with psoriasis and the therapeutic effects. Method 321 cases suffering from abacterial pustulosis in 9 hospitals coming from 7 cities in China were investigated by questionnaire. Multicenter and chance method was adopted . The possible causes were analysed. The results of investigation were dealed with the software of SPSS, data base was built, and the data were analysed by Frequencies and Crosstabs.Result and Conclusions 1. Acute generalized pustular psoriasis is the most in generalized abacterial pustulosis, 98 cases, constitute 54.4% in generalized abacterial pustulosis .Palmoplantar pustulosis is the most in localized abacterial pustulosis , 111 cases, constitute 78.7% in localized abacterial pustulosis . 2. Middle-aged women are predispositional to localized abacterial pustulosis, whereas no difference in morbidity of generalized abacterial pustulosis between men and women was observed. The etiology of localized abacterial pustulosis is less clear than generalized abacterial pustulosis . Women are predispositional to localized abacterial pustulosis, probably due to more contacts with chemical substance, such as cleansers and cosmetics. 3. Most patients suffering from localized abacterial pustulosis have no history of psoriasis vulgaris before.The localized abacterial pustulosis may be an independent disease except that pustular psoriasis of the palms and soles may be regarded as a localized type of pustular psoriasis . 4. The etiology of generalized abacterial pustulosis is related to a lot of factors. Especially medicine is an important factor among them. We should pay more attention to the abuse of hormone since it may elicit pustular psoriasis in the patients with psoriasis vulgaris history before. 5. Most generalized abacterial pustulosis are correlated to psoriasis and may be the spectrum disease correlated to psoriasis.
