Evaluations On The Training Course Of Graduate Students For On-the-job Medical Works In Anhui Province

Objectives: In order to provide basis for improving the quality of the class and evaluate its effect correctly.,the paper is to investigate the basic conditions of the participants in the class of training course for advanced on-the-job medical works as well as their evaluations of the quality of the class and the factors affecting the quality.Methods: The author investigates and analyzes the students' differences, the learning conditions, their evaluations of the quality of the class as well as the affecting factors by the questionnaire through letters.Results : Among the 686 samples, 72.59% are males, the average age of the students is 34.83 years old,and the proportion of women students was decreasing with the age ;57.73% of the students are physicians, 54.81% have middle level professional title, and 54.81% major in clinical medicine. The number of participants whose interval is 12 or15 years before their returning to school is the largest(23.32% of the trainees).The length of interval of re-study is related to the profession and major of the students;the main reason that the students chose this class is to be worried about their failure in the national exams for enrollment; about 59.04% of the students aim at the master degree;41.40% of them have passed the Qualifying English test for Master-Degree Applicants,of whom about 61.97% have just passed the test during the first or second year; the percentage of the female that have got master degrees is higher than that of male.Single factor evaluations indicate that the factors affecting the evaluations of the students include sex, study objective, the curriculum, study requirements, teaching level, review, attendance of the class, repetition of the content, experiment classes etc. Multiple liner regression showed that affecting the quality of the training course includes teaching level, study requirement, review, the course and experiment class.Conclusions: Most of the trainees in the class of graduate course for advanced medical workers in Anhui Province are key workforces aged between 30 and 40; they could get very good study result through the course;and the factors affecting the quality of the class are teaching level, study requirement, review, the course, and experiment class.
