| Oriental:Wormwood Decoction is a traditional formula in treating jaundice in TCM. It has good curative effect on treating acute icteric hepatitis. Sixty patients with HAV were observed contrast in this study. The changes of the function of the liver and the symptoms were observed before and after the treatment.Results: the oriental wormwood decoction had more significant improvement than the contrast group on the clinical symptoms of the jaundice (p<0.01), so do the function of the liver. Conclusion: It is a good formula to treat jaundice due to damp-heat accumulation. |
