The Clinical Effect Observation On Senile Pruritus Treated With The Bleeding And Cupping Therapy

Many old people are annoyed for their senile pruritus .As the life span of human beings increasing, the number of people with senile pruritus has increased, too. It is imperative for medical workers to find ways to cure this disease.In this paper, 65 patients with senile pruritus have been taken and divided into 3 groups, i.e, the bleeding and cupping group(30 cases),acupuncture group(20cases)and ear points group(15 cases). Selecting acupuncture points of the bleeding and cupping group is according to diagnosing disease, to the symptoms of the viscera and to the corresponding channel.The result shows that senile pruritus treated with the bleeding and cupping therapy gets obvions effect which is better than that of acupuncture's and better than that of ear points's.The mechanism of senile pruritus with the bleeding and cupping treatment is discussed for the clinic therapy in this paper.
