Study On The Rule Of Selecting Acupoints In Ancient Acupuncture And Moxibustion Treatment Of Depression Symptoms

Purpose: This study was based on the Chinese medical code and based on the prescription of acupuncture and moxibustion for the symptoms of depression.By means of computer retrieval and manual retrieval,we collated the prescription of acupuncture and moxibustion in ancient medical books included in the Chinese medical code for acupuncture and moxibustion treatment of the symptoms of depression.In order to provide theoretical basis and clinical guidance for the treatment of depression,we used the medical statistics method to explore the rule of acupuncture and moxibustion for the treatment of depression.Method: In this study,we used Microsoft Excel to collect and sort out the prescription of acupuncture and moxibustion therapy for the symptoms of depression in the representative ancient literature,such as Acupuncture and Moxibustion,A and B.We have established the corresponding database,has carried on the data entry,the standard,the pretreatment.With the help of systematic cluster analysis,the selection frequency,meridian,distribution and specific point properties of acupoints in the provisions of acupuncture prescription of depression were statistically analyzed,and the characteristics of acupoints and acupoint compatibility of ancient doctors' acupuncture and moxibustion treatment for depression were sorted out.With the help of systematic cluster analysis,we analyze the acupoint frequency,acupoint meridian,acupoint division and specific point attribute of the acupuncture prescription of depression,and collate the features of the acupoint and acupoint compatibility of ancient doctors' acupuncture and moxibustion treatment for depression.Results: 1.The results of literature retrieval: After screening,in the 50 ancient medical records of acupuncture and massage in the Chinese medical code,we collected 198 acupuncture and moxibustion prescriptions related to symptoms of depression,involving 101 acupoints with a total frequency of 304 times.These points covered 14 meridians.In the literature,we found that the main symptoms of depression were mental malaise,irritable and restless,chest distention and pain,not eating,and weeping.2.The results of the literature study:(1)The rule of single acupoints selection: 1)We found that among the 198 articles related to acupuncture treatment of depression,145 were single acupoints,involving 83 acupoints,and the total frequency was 145 times.From the frequency analysis of single acupoints,the commonly used points were: Zhaohai(KI6,7),Baihui(GV20,4),Jianshi(PC5,4),Qimen(LR14,4),Shaofu(HT8,4),Shuigou(GV26,4),Xinshu(BL15,4),Zhangmen(LR13,4).Zhaohai(KI6)tends to treat mental malaise and weeping;Baihui(GV20)tends to treat mental malaise and weeping;Jianshi(PC5)tends to treat irritable and restless;Qimen(LR14)tends to treat chest distention and pain and not eating;Shaofu(HT8)tends to treat mental malaise,irritable and restless and weeping;Shuigou(GV26)tends to treat mental malaise,irritable and restless and weeping;Xinshu(BL15)tends to treat weeping,chest distention and pain and not eating;Zhangmen(LR13)tends to treat and mental malaise.2)Acupoint meridian analysis: When treating symptoms of irritable and restless,most of the acupoints were derived from Shaoyin Heart Meridian of Hand,Jueyin Pericardium Meridian of Hand,and Jueyin Liver Meridian of Foot;When treating symptoms of mental malaise,most of the acupoints were derived from Shaoyin Heart Meridian of Hand,Shaoyin Kidney Meridian of Foot,Jueyin Liver Meridian of Foot,and DU meridian;When treating symptoms of chest distention and pain,most of the acupoints were derived from Jueyin Liver Meridian of Foot,Shaoyin Heart Meridian of Hand,Jueyin Pericardium Meridian of Hand,and REN meridian;When treating symptoms of not eating,most of the acupoints were derived from Jueyin Liver Meridian of Foot,Shaoyin Kidney Meridian of Foot,REN meridian,Shaoyin Heart Meridian of Hand,and Taiyin Spleen Meridian of Foot;When treating symptoms of weeping,most of the acupoints were derived from Shaoyin Heart Meridian of Hand,Jueyin Pericardium Meridian of Hand,Shaoyin Kidney Meridian of Foot,and DU meridian.3)From the distribution of acupoints,54.48% of the acupuncture points in the single point treatment for depression were obtained from the extremities,but the chest and abdomen points were also taken when treating chest distention and pain or not eating.4)From the specificity analysis of acupuncture points,85.51% points in single point prescription for acupuncture treatment of depression were specific points: When treating symptoms of irritable and restless,most of the acupoints were convergent acupoints,convergent acupoints and shu-stream acupoints;When treating symptoms of mental malaise,most of the acupoints were convergent acupoints;When treating symptoms of chest distention and pain,most of the acupoints were convergent acupoints,convergent acupoints and front-mu points;When treating symptoms of not eating,most of the acupoints were onvergent acupoints and front-mu points;When treating symptoms of weeping,most of the acupoints were convergent acupoints,eight confluence points and luo-connecting points.(2)The rule of selection of multiple points: We systematically analyzed the acupoint combinations of acupuncture and moxibustion for the treatment of depression.The following results are obtained: When treating symptoms of irritable and restless,the optional acupoint compatibility was Daling(PC7)-Xinshu(BL15);When treating symptoms of mental malaise,the optional acupoint compatibility was Guiku-Shuigou(GV26);When treating symptoms of chest distention and pain,the optional acupoint compatibility were Shimen(CV5)-Yinjiao(CV7)and Waiguan(TE5)-Zhigou(TE6);When treating symptoms of not eating,the optional acupoint compatibility was Houxi(SI3)-Shenmen(HT7);When treating symptoms of weeping,the optional acupoint compatibility was Gongsun(SP4)-Yinbai(SP1).Conclusion: 1.When the ancient doctors used acupuncture and moxibustion for the treatment of depression,the main symptoms were as follows: mental malaise,irritable and restless,chest distention and pain,not eating,and weeping.2.in ancient Chinese acupuncture and moxibustion prescriptions for the treatment of depression,the rule of single acupoint prescription was the main prescription.The law of taking acupoints was mainly embodied in the meridians taking acupoints,reflecting the yuan-primary point,eight confluence points and luo-connecting points.Treatment is mainly based on the liver,and pays attention to the treatment of heart and kidney.It embodies the importance of five zang viscera in the treatment of emotional diseases.The rule of taking the points of the branch is as follows: the most prominent chest and abdomen in the local acupoint collection(Qimen,Zhangmen,Zhongwan),the intersection of the head and face(Baihui,Shuigou).3.There are relatively few prescriptions for multiple points.The law of compatibility was mainly embodied in the law of acupoint matching,Shu Yuan matching,and interior and exterior acupoint matching.
