Puionium Gaertn. is a cruciferous, biennial herb, distributed mainly in Mongolia Plateau area. it is the people's extensive eat wild vegetables. Puionium Gaertn. have high nutritional value, which is a kind of nuisanceless, non-pollution, low candy, high-protein organic and hygienical vegetables. In this research, Pugionium comutum and P.dolabratum Maxim axe wings for material, determine the optimum technological conditions of extracted the Puionium Gaertn. flavonoids.we not only research the influence of flavonoids content on different varieties, leafyears., organ, gardens, planting, processing, wild and salinized artificial cultivation of sand mustard, but also compare wild and cultivated sand of vegetables Vc, arabidopsis carotenoids, total polyphenol content of flavonoids content, and the values, clearance of DPPH, relevance of FRAP, thereby further define the antioxidant activity of main material in the Puionium Gaertn. Experimental results show that:(1) The best method for flavonoids extraction is reflux method , with 80% ethanol as extraction solvent, extraction temperature 80℃, use 10 times ethanol, 90min extraction time , repeat extract three times, then flavonoid content is up to 8.46 mg ? g-1DW.(2) The flavonoids content increased in leaf and root of Pugionium comutum and P.dolabratum Maxim is with with the increase of leaves age.Flavonoids content in leaf and root of Pugionium comutum is generally high than the same leaf age of the leaf and roots of P.dolabratum Maxim. The flavonoids content in leaf and roots is more than ten times, with contrast between leaf and root.(3) Flavonoids content in leaf and root of Pugionium comutum and P. dolabratum Maxim. planting in Baotou is generally high than the same leaf age of in Hohhot. Flavonoids content of Pugionium comutum and P.dolabratum Maxim planting in 2009 in Hohhot than the leaf age of in 2008. This shows that, Flavonoids content of Puionium Gaertn vegetable is affected by management and growth environmental.(4) Saline processing has certain destructive for the flavonoids of Pugionium comutum. The difference between stemleaves of Pugionium comutum processed salt and fresh leaves is very significant.(5) Both leaf and root of wild Pugionium comutum, the content of flavonoids, Vc, carotenoids, total polyphenol are higher than the same Age of cultivated, some differences is very significant.(6) Puionium Gaertn vegetable is a vegetable with high antioxidant activity, especially in its leaves. This may be rich with phenolics in Pugionium comutum. The rate correlate coefficient of total polyphenol and DPPH clearance is 0.9836, and FRAP ratio is 0.9812, are very significant positive correlation (P < 0.01).
