| Pugionium Gaerten. is a very important shrub species for sandy vegetable inhabilitation in Inner Mongolia of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region China for its high ecological and economic values. P. cornutum (L.) Gaertn. and P. dolabratum Maxim. is its two species. The objectives of this work did determine the germination P. dolabratum of seeds. The results indicate: 1. P. dolabratum of seeds are smaller than P. cornutum of seeds. And P. dolabratum of pericarps are more weight than P. cornutum of pericarps. P. dolabratum of seeds are fatty seeds. 2. Dormancy of time is 7 month of P. dolabratum seeds. 3. The present study shows that these seeds are able to germinate under a wide range of temperature from 15 to 35°C with a optimum percentage of germination occurring at 27~29°C in darkness. Seed germination is promoted after 200mMNaCl treatment. The optimum depth is 1~6cm in sand burial experimentation. 4. P. cornutum of seedlings are more growth than P. dolabratum of seedlings. |
