Electric field,as a kind of physical factor,has great effect on organism,which has become an important content to research in the field of biophysics.Some domestic and foreign researchers have provided a large number of results about biological effects of electric field on plants,And they have reaped the fruit of their researches.For resent years,when we employed the electrostatic technique to some researches of breeding we have found it can increase both production and income, can improve the qualities of agricultural products.In this paper,after the seeds of Caragana were treated with different electric field strength,we measured the physiological index of wheat seedling and the germination of Caragana seeds,then analyzed the relation between electric biological effect and treatment conditions and aging property of electric biological effect.The results of study show that different treating conditions(different electric field strength and different treatment time) have different effects on physiological indexes of plant seedling.When treatment time is fixed,the change of physiological index of Caragana seedling is non-monotone along with the increase of electric field strength. And in same treatment conditions the effects on different physiological index are also different.By the methods of t test in biostatistics mathematics,we can conclude that the optimal condition of electric field is 2.0Kv/cm or 4.0kV/cm in 5min and 4.5Kv/cm in 10min.The whole effects are more obvious when the seeds are treated in10min than in 5min.The results of study also show that the effect of storing time on the physiological index of plant seedling is different.If seeds treated with electric field were stored in ten days,the effects of electric field on the seeds are still obvious,and stored in twenty days the obvious effect tends to disappear.All of these results show that the effect of electric field on plant has aging property.Electric biological effect will disappear slowly along with the extending of the storage time.The results of study have an important and directive meaning to spread the technology of electric biology.
