The technique of heavy ion beam implantation developed recent decade years,catched wide attention for its advantage over the conventional radiation breeding practice.At present,though this technique has made evident achievements in breeding program,the mechanism is unclear.In order to investigate the effect of soybean seed vigour by different energy and dosage of 7Li ion beam implantation,this research have used the mutagenic advantage to explore the optimal energy and dosages and provide scientific basis for application,and selected the mutant to offer the excellent genetic resources of soybean.Main results are as follow:1,The treatments by two energy and five dosages of 7Li ion beam implantation inhibited or promoted the soybean seed vigour and had an apparent variation in the various species of soybean.Seed germination rate of treatments by 7Li ion beam implantation was more than 83.33%,and field seedling emergence of most treatments by 7Li ion beam implantation was about 70%;seed germination potential and seed germination rate had remarkably enhancement in the treatment of 4.24 MeV 60 Gy 7Li ion beam irradiation.2,7Li ion beam implantation obviously affected the growth and agronomic traits of soybean,such as growth duration,plant height,height of pod,pod No.per plant and seed No.per plant.3,There are many types of mutations in M1 progeny,such as dwarf plant,curvature stem,the two stalks,opposite branch or leaf and high yield mutant.The mutation frequency of treatments by 7Li ion beam implantation was between 1.96%~7.68%.The mutation frequency was more higher under 19.9MeV 60Gy,19.9MeV 100Gy,4.24MeV 200Gy treatments,which was between 6.66%~7.68%.The types of mutations with M2 progeny were more richer than the M1 progeny,which appeared tall plant,plant sterility,stem pod mature but crudeness and so on,which was between 1.35%~17.91%of the mutation frequency.It was more higher under 19.9MeV 60Gy,19.9MeV 80Gy,4.24MeV 200Gy treatments,which was between 12.34%~15.21%.4,The 7Li ion beam implantation could not only cause dominant mutation but also cause recessive mutation,when it used the pedigree method,the M2 progeny had a more higher mutation frequency than other methods of selection,but it maybe lose many mutant genes.In order to avoid mutation omission and not to increase workload,the M1 progeny should adopted the hybrid method of the pedigree method and the bulk method.
