By using biological and ecological investigation,physiological and biochemical analysis,to observed and analyzed natural light quality,photosynthesis and fruit quality of golden delicious on different altitudes in northern part of west traverse cordillera of Sichuan by using CI-700AB/HR2000 series high-resolution miniature fiber optic spectrometer and Li-6400 portable photosynthesis system.The results showed that:1.Absolute irradiance of wavelength 300.39 nm-871.66 nm were increased along with the elevatory altitude,thereinto,the increments between 300.39 nm-318.58 nm and 530.1 nm-589.1 nm were marked.Every wavelength-between 872.09 nm-1060.33 nm was decreased along with the elevatory altitude,and the percentage decreased significant along with the increscent wavelength.2.The proportions of UV-A and UV-B in total solar were increased along with the elevatory altitude,the differences between 1420m and 1720m,1420m and 2020m were significant,the difference between 1720m and 2020m was inapparent;Purple and green light increased firstly and decreased afterward along with the elevatory altitude,however, the difference between three altitudes was inapparent;The proportions of blue,yellow, orange,red and far red light were increased along with the elevatory altitude,the difference between 1420m and 1720m was insignificant,the differences between 1420m and 2020m, 1720m and 2020m were significant;The proportions of infrared was decreased along with the elevatory altitude,and the differences between three altitudes were significant(P<0.05).3.The changes of light quality affected photosynthesis,transpiration and stomatal conductance of Golden delicious apple leaves.The increased irradiance between 300.39 nm-318.58 nm restrained synthesis of chlorophyll and reduced net photosynthetic rate of leaves,however,the increased irradiance between 398.23 nm-871.66 nm accelerated it. Under the effects of both wave-bands,contents of chlorophyll and net photosynthetic rate of leaves increased firstly and decreased afterward along with the elevatory altitude.This change was insignificant.The increased irradiance between 300.39 nm-871.66 nm and decreased irradiance between 872.09 nm-1060.33 nm increased contents of carotenoid, transpiration rate and stomatal conductance along with the elevatory altitude.The changes were more significant if altitude more high.4.The effects of light quality on fruit quality:Main fruit weight,vertical diameter, transverse diameter and soluble solid increased firstly and decreased afterward along with the elevatory altitude.The differences of main fruit weight and soluble solid between three altitudes were significant;The difference of Vertical diameter between 1420m and 1720m, 1720m and 2020m were marked,the difference between 1420m and 2020m was inapparent; The differences of transverse diameter between were inapparent.The effect of light quality on exterior fruit quality is various,thereby,the correlation between light quality and exterior fruit quality is inapparent.Total sugar of sarcocarp and chlorophyll of pericarp increased firstly and decreased afterward along with the elevatory altitude,the differences between three altitudes were marked;Titratable acidity,ascorbicacid and anthocyanin of pericarp were increased along with the elevatory altitude,and the differences between three altitudes were significant; The content of protein increased firstly and decreased afterward along with the elevatory altitude,the differences between 1420m and 1720m,1720m and 2020m were significant, the difference between 1420m and 1720m was inapparent;Carotenoid of pericarp were decreased along with the elevatory altitude,and the differences between three altitudes were significant.From what has been discussed above,we know that photosynthetic rate and fruit quality are the best at the altitude of 1720m,The condition of light quality is propitious to fruit quality,It is the place which golden delicious can get high quality and yield.
