Study On The Adaptability Cultivation Experiment Of Japanese Shenma Chrysanthemum And Its Technology In Hainan

Shenma Chrysanthemum is a kind of white autumnal chrysanthemum, which is very popular in Japanese market. But for the influence of many different factors in recent years, the quantity of Japanese home-planted Shenma Chrysanthemum becomes fewer and fewer. Instead, its import quantity becomes lager and lager. Relying on the neighborhood relationship with Japan and the low labor force cost those comprehensive reasons, China will be the main supplier for the Shenma Chrysanthemum in Japanese market. Hainan is character with abundant natural resources, illumination, temperature and moisture is adequate. Under these superior natural conditions, provided the Shenma Chrysanthemum can be cultivated successfully in Hainan, then it will have a great impetus to the development of Shenma Chrysanthemum industry.This thesis is a study of Shenma Chrysanthemum. It studies the growth characteristics and its cultivation technology and measures under the Hainan's climate conditions. So that it can provide reliable technology guarantee for instructing the production of cutting flower of Shenma Chrysanthemum in Hainan. Its main contents and results are as follows:1) The vegetative cycle of Shenma Chrysanthemum can be divided into three periods: the first period is from transplant to its restoration, it needs about 25 days. The growth of plant stem tallness, number of leaves and ground diameter in this period is a bit slowly. The second period begins from 25th days to 65th days. The growth of plant stem tallness, number of leaves and ground diameter in this period is relatively fast. The third period is from the 65th days to its bloom out. The growth of plant stem tallness, number of leaves and ground diameter in this period is more slowly than in the first period. The growth curve of stem tallness,leaves number's increase and ground diameter growth tallies the growth of Logistic and follow the slow-fast-slow. The tendency illuminates that the first 25 days are the nutrition growth infancy of Shenma Chrysanthemum; the period from 25th to 65th is its nutrition growth peak period; and third period after 65th is its reproduction growth period. The whole vegetative cycle for Shenma Chrysanthemum is about 120-145 days.
