Preliminary Study On Effective Method Ofimproving Shaanxi Apple's Yield Quality And Safe Level

Shaanxi Weibei Loess Plateau is a world well-known apple production base, here apple production takes an important position in rural economic development, and improving shaanxi apple's yield, quality as well as safe level will play an important role in enhancing its exportation competitiveness. Based on the current condition and development tendency of apple production management level both at home and abroad, author of this article consulted a lot of references and took field investigation, subsequently he analyzed and dissertated the important effect, caused by following three aspects, to improve Shaanxi apple's yield, quality and safe level, they are four key techniques for high quality apple production, construction of green fruit production base, integrated control to pest and disease. He also pointed out the major problems existing in Shaanxi apple's current production management are as follows: unreasonable tree shape, nonideal angle of bending branches, unscientific method of fertilizer spraying, low control level with so much chemicals used to control pests and diseases, less investment in orchard resulting in poor yield and low income, so small orchard area of each household resulting in low industrialization degree, incompletely quality standard as well as low quality safe level and so on. Combining with the present practical situation of Shaanxi apple's production area, yield, high quality fruit ratio, export volume, fruit grower's income together with Shaanxi apples'remarkable advantage of resource, region and technique, the author of this article proposed the following key countermeasures to improve Shaanxi apple's yield, quality and safe level:1. Making a great effort to spread and popularize the four key techniques including"great modification of pruning system, strong bending of branches, effective fertilization, non-environment pollution"to further improve apple's yield and high quality fruit ratio. Past five years'practice has proved that these techniques can combine well the on-ground management with under-ground management to ameliorate ventilation and light conditions and balance the tree growth in order to improve absorption ratio of nutrition and moisture.
