Objective:To develop a quality life scale with the connotation of Chinese medicine for the patients with Atopic Dermatitis (AD), providing one of the evaluational tools for assessing the Chinese medicine treatment of AD clinical efficacy comprehensively and objectively. Methods:According to the formulating principle of WHO Quality of Life Scale.combining the basic theory of traditional Chinese medicine, putting forward the idea of the scale, and then widely available many kinds of universal or special dermopathic quality of life scale at home and abroad, building the initial Scale with the structured decision-making methods.Using the way of investigation to testing 105 patients with AD,and multi-dimensional screening of the fentries by discrete trends.correlation analysis, factor analysis, response analysis methods.and so on.finally forming the Atopic Dermatitis quality of life scale(ADQOLS), and assessing its reliability.validity and response. Results:The development of physical, psychological, and social dimensions of three entries in a total of 25 AD quality of life scale (ADQOLS) in line with the theoretical concept. The test-retest reliability of ADQOLS after 24h was 0.998, ADQOLS total score of Crobach’s a coefficient, split-half reliability coefficients were 0.931,0.942. Factor analysis extracted five main factors, the cumulative contribution rate of 71.278 percent, one of the first common factor for the contribution rate of 42.870%. Dimension and total scores of the sub-sector in the correlation coefficient between 0.445-0.944, ADQOLS scores and SF-36 scores, ADS score, DLQI score of the correlation coefficients were-0.723,0.768,0.854. Before and after treatment in patients with Chinese medicine has ADQOLS significant differences in scores of different groups of patients with the disease in all dimensions and there is ADQOLS significant differences in total scores, patients in different age groups in the physical and psychological dimensions have statistically significant differences, different course group, different TCM Syndrome-type group at the physical dimensions of the patients have statistically significant differences. Conclusion:ADQOLS are reliable, effective and sensitive at the same time characteristics of Chinese medicine, an accurate reflection of AD in patients with the connotation of quality of life, AD as a clinical tool for evaluation. |
