The Psychometric Test Of The Chinese Version Of The POEM Scale

ObjectiveBased on the TCM treatment,the reliability,validity and reactivity of the POEM scale were evaluated to provide evaluation criteria for the treatment of atopic dermatitis.MethodsUnder the treatment of traditional Chinese medicine,through the questionnaire survey,investigation,a total of 109 patients,33 patients require 24 h rewritten fill in the questionnaire,the rest of the 76 cases of complete POEM scale after 2 weeks,and at the same time record for the first time and 2 weeks after SCORAD scores,collect data,statistical data,and evaluating the POEM reliability and validity of the Chinese version of the scale and degree of reaction.ResultsIn terms of reliability,included 33 cases were analyzed,the retest reliability result on its scale scores of Pearson correlation coefficient is 0.904(each item is > 0.7),total scale Cronbach ’s alpha coefficient is 0.809(0.812)after the standardized,1/2 reliability coefficient is 0.876.And the sensitivity analysis,the scale after removing one item scale Cronbach’ s alpha coefficients is stable.So the scale has good reliability.In terms of validity,the surface validity and content validity of the scale are reliable and reliable.The structure validity,factor analysis which extracted two main factors: respectively the itch sleep-dry skin desquamation,broken skin blood osmotic solutions.As two main plate includes two fields: the symptoms and skin lesions,POEM Chinese scale has a good structure.Criterion related validity,using SCORAD scale score as external criterion(external),calculated from the POEM scale between the Chinese version with SCORAD scores of Pearson correlation coefficient is 0.291,has a certain strength of correlation between the results obtained,two scale has certain commonality.The Chinese version of the POEM scale has its own characteristics,and it only shows a certain strength of criterion correlation validity when using SCORAD as an external criterion.In measurement of the degree of reaction,based on traditional Chinese medicine treatment intervention,included 76 cases,calculated the weight of two points measurement,rate,standardized effect,standardized mean differences,according to the scale has good reactivity,can basically reflect the patient’s condition changes.The retest of two points of time was compared with the scores of the POEM scale of 2 weeks before and after treatment,and the paired t test was conducted.The t was 4.228,P=0.000,and there was a significant difference before and after treatment.ConclusionThe Chinese version of the POEM scale has been formed,and after the evaluation,the results show that the Chinese version of the POEM scale has good reliability,validity and responsiveness.The scale is evaluated under the treatment of traditional Chinese medicine,especially the degree of reactivity,and the condition of AD patients can be improved generally after TCM treatment.The Chinese version of the POEM scale assessment tools in line with the characteristics of the evaluation of traditional Chinese medicine treatment,POEM scale as AD condition assessment tools,to better understand and evaluate the advantages of traditional Chinese medicine treatment of atopic dermatitis.
