They were randomly divided into two groups:acupuncture and Chinese medicine group (treatment group) and Chinese medicine group (control group). Each patient received three-time-a-week treatment with 4 weeks for 1 course, the study consisted of a 3-month cycle treatment with a treatment interval of two days. Treatment after 4 weeks,8 weeks,12 weeks, 1month followed-up would be observed and recorded with SCORAD scores, skin disease quality of life questionnaire, the main symptom scale of AD(MSSAD), and then draw the conclusion, according to standard level 4 curative effect evaluation of curative effect.Results1 SCORAD scores:Comparison among groups through analysis of the 5-point-score of SCROAD:After treatment of 4 weeks and 8 weeks the change of SCORAD were statistical significance, (P>0.05); But after 12 weeks treatment and lmonth followed-up its SCORAD value changes with statistical significance (P<0.05), which means the treatment group has positive improvement in skin lesions, itch and the quality of sleeping of atopic dermatitis.2 MSSAD score:Comparison among groups:The change of MSSAD is not statistically significant (P=>0.05) after 4 weeks treatment, but after 8 weeks,12 weeks and 16 weeks of followed-up treatment its MASSAD change have statistical significance. (P=<0.05). It shows that the treatment group can not only improve the symptom of the disease but the other symptom of the patient.3 DLQI:Comparison among groups:After 12 weeks treatment the DLQI value changes were statistically significant both group A and group B. (P<0.05). and for the feelings, daily activities, leisure, work/study/holiday, interpersonal relationship, effect of the treatment, except for the effect of the treatment showed no significance between two groups (P) 0.05), left of all showed the statistical significance(P<0.05)4 The correlation analysis:Among SCORAD, the MSSAD the DLQI has the positive correlation (0<r+1, P<0.05), and in the MSSAD with DLQI show the highest correlation coefficient (0.5<r<0.8). The MSSAD with the SCORAD had shown the medium correlation (r0.5<r<0.8,). And the correlation was lower between the DLQI with SCORAD (r<0.5).Conclusion1 Acupuncture treatment with treatment of Chinese medicine intake has the significant improvement of obvious effect and healing levels in atopic dermatitis patients.2 The skin condition, itching and sleep quality of Atopic dermatitis, the symptom and the quality of life can be significantly improved by acupuncture.
