Objective: to observe the clinical effect and quality of life improvement of atopic dermatitis treated by Chinese medicine bath, and to verify the effectiveness and scientificity of Chinese medicine bath,so as to provide a more effective method for the clinical treatment of atopic dermatitis. Methods: 46 patients with atopic dermatitis were randomly divided into two groups:24 in the experimental group and 22 in the control group, the experimental group(oral Chinese medicine bath combined with oral Chinese medicine and topical tacrolimus ointment),and the control group(oral Chinese medicine and topical tacrolimus ointment). Methods:SCORAD scores were recorded at 0 weeks,1 week,2 weeks,3 weeks and 4 weeks.Patients' quality of life scores(DLQI)were recorded at 0 and 4 weeks, respectively, and followed up at 8 weeks after treatment.Efficacy evaluation: SCORAD score was used to evaluate the severity of the disease.Quality of life evaluation: quality of life index questionnaire(DLQI)of dermatology was used.Statistical methods: SPSS 23.0 data were used for data analysis,P<0.05 was statistically significant. Results: efficacy evaluation: there were statistically significant differences in SCORAD scores between the two groups before and after treatment(P<0.05).There were statistically significant differences between the two groups in SCORAD scores after treatment(P<0.05).SCORAD scores were compared at 0 weeks,1 weeks,2 weeks,3weeks and 4 weeks of treatment in the two groups, and the SCORAD scores were evaluated at 4 weeks of treatment by repeated measurement analysis of variance(anova). There were statistically significant differences in time between the experimental group and the control group(P<0.05).There were statistically significant differences in the interaction between time and treatment groups(P<0.05).There was no statistical difference between groups(P>0.05).Quality of life analysis: there were statistically significant differences in DLQI scores between the two groups before and after treatment(P<0.05),and there were statistically significant differences in DLQI scores between the two groups after treatment(P<0.05).Conclusion: Chinese medicine bath is effective in treating atopic dermatitis.Chinese medicine bath combined with Chinese medicine oral administration and tacrolimus ointment for external use have more significant clinical effect and improvement of quality of life than Chinese medicine oral administration and tacrolimus ointment for external use in the treatment of atopic dermatitis.
