Objective:1、Ensure the operation time for best antipyretic effect with massaging Tian Heshui for clinic treatment.2、Explore if children will sweat when bringing down a fever with clearing Tian Heshui. Methods:With randomized and controlled clinical research method,it incorporates 114 cases of children patients into clinical study. They are from Kou children hospital of traditional Chinese medicine in Chengdu and they are all according with the diagnostic criteria that exogenous fever of traditional Chinese medicine and acute upper respiratory infection of Western medicine.According to randomized allocation method,it averagely divides subjects into 4 groups, each group of 36 cases, named control group, treatment group 1,treatment group 2 and treatment group 3. The control group uses basic operation based on Four techniques on face and head, clearing Liver,Heart and Lung Meridian, Pinching and kneading Bo Yangchi to make massage therapy for 20 minutes. The treatment group uses basic operation plus clearing Tian Heshui to make that.Take the temperature of sick children and record before and after the operation for 0.5h,2h,4h,relatively.Compare the four groups of antipyretic effect after operation for 0.5h and persistent antifebrile action(2h,4h) and observe if they happen to sweat when bringing down a fever. To meet the needs of moral philosophy, sick children in control group are given fever cooling sheet to bring down the fever after 4 hours.Results:1、Comparing the four groups of temperature within the group, there is no statistical difference between the temperature before and after operation in control group (P>0.05), so it has no antifebrile action, but there is statistical difference in other three groups (P<0.05);2、There is no significantly difference between the antipyretic effect of 3-minute group with massaging Tian Heshui and 5-minute group with massaging Tian Heshui after operation for 0.5h (P>0.05), but the results of them are higher than that in 1-minute group with massaging Tian Heshui (P<0.05);3、The persistent antifebrile action of 5-minute group with massaging Tian Heshui is better than that of 3 and 1-minute groups with massaging Tian Heshui (P< 0.05);4、It finds that sick children who reach to antifebrile effect standards (≥0.5℃) all appear sweat on head and neck, hands and back.Conclusion:1、massaging Tian Heshui has better antifebrile action but it needs time to accumulate experience for satisfied antifebrile effect;2、The best operation time of massaging Tian Heshui is 5 minutes;3、It will happen to sweat when the operation of massaging Tian Heshui reaches to antifebrile effect standards.
