Cervical Cancer is the second high- incidence cancer next to breast cancer which threats women ’s health in worldwide. The World Health Organization had reported that about 500000 cervical cancer new cases occurred every year and 80% of which occurred in developing countries. There are about 140000 new cases of cervical cancer every year in China that accounts for almost 1/3 of the total number.The main treatments of cervical cancer includs surgery, radiation and chemotherapy, biological treatment and traditional Chinese medicine treatment.While surgery and radiation and chemotherapy not only cause patients body unwell but also cause patients nervous, anxiety and other restless emotions which seriously affects the quality of life of them after a series of treatment. The quality of life has a very important significance to the cervical cancer patients which impacts the recurrence rates and survival rates of cervical cancer patients directly. Chinese medicine treatment has some advantages in the treatment of cervical cancer especially in side effects.So searching effective Chinese medicine to improve the cervical cancer patients ’quality of life has a great important meaning.Objective: Observing the effects of Chinese patent drug Kangai Injection on intervening the quality of life of cervical cancer patients after surgery or radiation and chemotherapy.Method:(1) Group: During 2013.1-2014.5, collected 79 patients which met the inclusion criteria in Liaoning Cancer Hospital,including departments ofGynaecology, Medicine and Traditional Chinese Medicine. And included 38 cases phaseⅠ,17 cases phaseⅡand 24 cases phaseⅢ according to the FIGO.(2)Research method: The patients need to finish four questionnaire surverys and fill in questionnaires including infromed consent, general situation questionnaire and FACT-Cx. In treatment groups, the patients were injected Kangai injection 60 ml in 5% Glucose Injection 250 ml.Control groups without any medicine. And filling in the FACT-Cx questionnaire survery when back to the hospital reexmining.(3)Observation item: Counting the score of the four FACT-Cx questionnaires and analysing the results by SPSS17.0. The least significant difference method was used to test the difference between groups. A likelihood ratio chi-square test was used to compare the difference between two proportions.For all above statistical analysis,a value of P < 0.05 was considered statistically significant.Results: In the sides of mental condition,emotional state and additional area of concern, scores would be a certain degree of decline with the lengthen time of taking medicine. The score of radiation and chemotherapy groups were higher than that operation groups. There were reverse phenomenon in functional status. And in the aspects of social and family status, the score of the two groups had no significant difference.Conclusions: 1.The quantity of life of the patients who received radiation and chemotherapy is worse than the surgery groups. 2.The Chinese patent drug Kangai Injection enhance the quantity of life of the patients who received radiation and chemotherapy and surgery in the side of condition,emotional state, functional state and additional concerned area.
