Purpose:To observe the clinical curative effect of treating upper limb spastic paralysisafter stroke by warming needle moxibustion.Material and method:According to the inclusion criteria,sixty patients of spasticparalysis after stroke were selected by randomly divided into two groups, namely warmingneedle moxibustion treating group including thirty people and traditional acupuncture controlgroup including thirty people, the two groups were given conventional rehabilitation trainingand medical treatment.With the same Acupuncture points,the patients of the two groupswere treated once a day for seven days continously,and were treated continously after twodays,which lasts sixteen days.By using modified Ashworth spastic rating and briefFugl-Meyer assessment methods to evaluation the curative effect.Comparing the differencebetween the two groups before and after treatmentResults:1.Spastic state and motor function level of both groups were improved after treatment,andhas statistical significance compared to those before treatment. The treatment group weresuperior to the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05)。Conclusion:1.The spastic state of patients with upper limb spastic paralysis after stroke can be improvedby warming needle moxibustion.2. The motor function of patients with upper limb spastic paralysis after stroke can beimproved by warming needle moxibustion.3.Warming needle moxibustion group overall curative effect is superior to the ordinaryacupuncture group.
