With the rapid development of industrial economy as well as science and technology, cushioning packaging techniques were greatly improved.Through various kinds of cushioning packages symboled as mechanical items and explore the reflected dynamic conditions of the packages under the excitation from the external environment in the process of transportation, these are the theoretical basis of desiging the cushioning package.Due to the frangibility of Flat Panel TV, it can not bear high impact acceleration.therefore, the influence from external vibration is obvious.In the process of transportation and storage, Flat Panel TV is easily affected by the external force,thus the assault will shorten the life of the TV. Therefore, it is not only eager but also significant to make a research on the shockproof cushioning package of the flat panel TV.First of all, this thesis investigate and evaluate the mechanical environments which the package of flat panel TV encounters in the process of transportation. Through the research on the mechanical properties and Cushioning Mechanism of the flat panel TV, its cushioning packaging system is illustrated from the dynamic point of view and the force condition is analyzed. In addition, the vibration mechanics models of cushioning packaging system are established respectively according to different qualities of the products. From the perspective of system energy, this thesis takes advantage of the method of analytical mechanics and adopts the generalized coordinates to illustrate the dynamics law of cushioning packaging system, thus two degree-of-freedom vibration differential equations are set up to conduct a systematic analysis. What's more, by the method of computational modal analysis., the current study achieves the vibration differential equation of the cushioning packaging system and analyzes the Dynamic Response of the products functioned with. external vertical exciting force. These conclusions have great reference values on designing and optimization of flat panel TV's cushioning packaging.This thesis adopts the transient test system to simulate external vibration condition in the process of transportation, by which the fixed frequency, swept frequency and the random vibration tests are conducted. Through the observation and analysis on the tests'results, the reliability of the current flat panel TV's package is evaluated. Under the resonance frequency got from the swept frequency test, this thesis analyzes the features of the packaging construct of flat panel TV. Moreover, this thesis makes a curve fitting on vibration model with the help of Matlab and thus testify the effectivess of the simulation. The results indicates that the mechanical model has a guiding significance for the cushioning packaging of the products.
