In modern times, products are suffering from vibration, impact and roll or fall off during circulation process. Such circumstance may easily lead to forever physical damage especially for the easily-damaged products. So cushioning package plays an important role during circulation process. Traditionally, cushioning package design is based on the fragility theory and the damage boundary curve theory. But the nature of the method on confirming the product's fragility is conservative. Shock response spectrum analysis (SRS for short) is a useful tool for rationalizing cushioning package.There must be one component which is the most frangible in any complicated product. We call it damageable-part. Many facts indicate that the suspender is the damageable-part of the pulsator washing machine. The subject present it as the research object. Then the practical cushioning package system can be analyzed as 2-freedom shock model. The subject deals with the research on shock response of the non-linear system with the method of Runge-Kutta. By the use of the programming method in Matlab, the transient responses of displacement, velocity, acceleration and SRS are obtained. Furthermore we also analyzed the effect of relative damping ratio and the vibration transferability on the SRS of the damageable-part.Test partner3, a data auto sample and process system, is applied in this subject in order to obtain the intelligence of the shock response of the suspension system. Then test partner3-ETC-SRS is used to obtain the SRS curve which offers the basis not only for checking the security of the present cushioning package, but also for improving the cushioning package.In order to check the security of the present cushioning package, we do both shock test and vibration simulation transportation test. After vibration simulation transportation test, suspenders are not damaged, but the bottom cushioning mat is badly destroyed. And we get the SRS curve of transportation package in the shock test. After shock test, not only the suspenders are damaged, but also the bottom cushioning mat is badly destroyed. Both the SRS analysis result and the test result make clear that the present cushioning package is a under-package. Based on the former result, some suggestions are present.
