Shock and vibration are two types of environment loads to be hazardous for items during shipping, so the analysis of shock and vibration for items is the fundamental work for suspension system with package cushioning. Firstly, force-transmutation relation is analyzed and the conclusion is elicited that the system takes on elastor with cubic function type from the structure character of suspension system with package cushioning.Secondly, shock response property is analyzed, the ratios of item' s most displacement, most acceleration and shock duration to benchmark system are obtained. And corresponding curves are protracted with MatLab software. Thirdly, vibration analysis theories of suspension system with package cushioning introduced. Vibration model is established and inherency frequency and main vibration type are obtained, vibration characteristic response is analyzed. Mode respond and harmonious respond of suspension system with package cushioning are analyzed with the help of ANSYS 6.0. At last, design method of suspension system with package cushioning is researched and a detailed design example is provided. At the same time, a application for suspension system with package cushioning is developed under the environment of Microsoft Visual C++ 6.0 base on the operatingunder the environment of Microsoft Visual C++ 6.0 base on the operating system of Windows XP.
