Urban Design Strategy And Control For Waterfront Area Of Mountainous City Based On Urban Transformation Actuality

In recent years, with China's rapid economic growth and fast urbanization promotion, many mountainous city forms have profound changes not only caused by the transformation of urban function and the industry structure adjustment, But also by the re-use of city's replaced land and the apperance of new industrial pattern. On one hand, city development heatwave has brought unrecoverable damage to the nature environment. On the other hand, due to the lack of effective management and control in urban planning and droved by the maximum economic benefits, part of city space is loosing their characteristics and urban forms appear to be the same.Objectively rethinking of this phenomenon, in a long time, the government didn't pay much attention to the overall planning and development of Chongqing liangjiang coast waterfront area, so the natural pleasant waterfront spaces and landscape along coastline are gradually cut apart by the fast road,out-of-order commercial resident development and dull city flood control dam. The robust of waterfront pubic spaces and urban feature is being lost.This thesis bases on the spot investigation of urban form in Chongqing waterfront areas, and by the method of summarizing and analysis to find out the main problems of current chongqing mountainous city form lies in the aspects below: first the urban nature environment has been destroyed. Second the buildings along waterfront area are relatively dull in form and function. Third the public spaces and local culture facilities are insufficient. Fourth the road and landscape design along waterfront area is not humanity. This paper takes Chongqing liangjiang waterfront area as research object, and mainly focuses on the ecological design strategy in mountainous city waterfront area. By analyzing the elements of"four line"in waterfront area urban form and proposes ecological control principle with the strategy of function mixed development, vertical space design, planning of public service facility and tourism, multiple traffic and sustainable waterfront road design . In the aspect of how to manage and control urban design, because in lack of efficient manage mechanism to protect the urban design achievements, so design achievements is not efficient. For urban planning is a dynamic process, this thesis spend much time in the research of control and coordinate mechanism of urban planning and the dynamic control of urban planning achievements. And finally put forwards preliminary suggestions for current mountainous city waterfront area design from the aspect of how to design and how to control.This thesis has six chapters. The first chapter introduces the background and the significance of this research. Meanwhile to explain the basic definitions and confirm the objects to study in waterfront area. By reviewing nowadays researches home and abroad, and finally get a general frame for the whole thesis.The second chapter proposes the development tangency of current city form in waterfront area of mountainous city and point out that under the affection of urbanization and improper construction combines with the functional transformation and industrial transformation, there are a lot of problems in chongqing city form. Meanwhile analyses the reason behind.The third chapter mainly talks about mountainous city form design strategy with the scope of nature landscape. By estimating the"four line"in urban waterfront area (Hydro-fluctuation belt,municipal line along waterfront area,urban sky line,natural ridge line) and finally come to the general ecological control. Fragment. Addresses the problems put forward in the second chapter, this chapter proposes the strategy of ecological design, function mixed development, vertical space design, planning of public service facilities and tourism, multiple traffic and sustainable waterfront road design.The fourth chapter mainly discusses the mechanism of coordination and dynamic control of urban planning achievements in urban design. For urban design is a continuous and dynamic process in decision making and changing, so this part tries to research on the maneuverability and public participation of urban design achievements from the aspects of changing urban design target and method, refunding coordination mechanism and dynamic control mechanism in important urban area design and also to find out whether this maneuverability and public participation of design achievements works in Chongqing.The fifth chapter is the case study. Mainly talks about the character and develop mode of waterfront area and the reason why it is now in development heat wave. Through the study of several cases and draws on the successful experience and developmental mode of waterfront areas home and abroad , meanwhile combines the typical urban development actuality of Chongqing main urban areas to research on typical urban design cases in Chongqing application.The sixth chapter is the conclusion for the whole thesis and come to a preliminary conclusion in design strategy of urban form design in mountainous city waterfront area and summarized the conclusion of the control and Coordinate mechanism in urban design,the dynamic control mechanism of urban design achievements'and the feasibility of some urban design modes.
