Research Of Inhabitation Spatial Configuration On Zhujiang New Town In Guangzhou

As China's economy keeps on developing at a rapid speed and international business activities happen more and more frequently, the shaping of Central Business District (CBD) begins to have more and more relations with the macroeconomics development strategies of a region or even a country. Residential space is one important component of the whole CBD's space, for which it not only adds up to CBD's single function of high-end office and commercial environment, but also provides a convenient accommodation possibility for the office workers in the CBD. Researcher of this thesis believes that the inhabitancy configuration control will affect the whole development of the CBD, and thus started the research at the point of whether it is necessary or not to distinguish the form of shaping and control requirement of residential space within and without a CBD area. Residential district plays a very important role both for the vitality and appearance of the CBD. When the general public starts to realize that we need not only business office function but also residential and other composition functions to raise the vitality, it is worthy for us to consider and research the control of CBD residential district shaping, for example, how to control the morphology of residential spaces within a CBD, or how to create a residential environment which is proper for the CBD's spatial features. The residential morphology begins to separate from the other spaces of CBD: it starts to erode the central hard core of CBD, at the same time gradually obstructs the infiltration of business spaces in the CBD, the high temptation of profit begins to disorder the space - CBD starts to bring people more and more the feeling of a residential area instead of a business area. The author of the thesis takes the residential spatial morphology of Guangzhou Pearl River New Town as research subject. Researcher first analyzes the success and failure of residential morphological construction of Pearl River New Town, and then has a study of both domestic and foreign cases, hoping to bring some inspiration and suggestions to the future CBD residential space shaping by the way of analogy. Meanwhile the researcher tries to investigate the elements and administrative mechanism of CBD residential spatial morphology using the experience of one point to lead the whole area.(一) Review the history of residential space shaping of Guangzhou Pearl River New Town, crystallize the research direction and value of the thesis; study the relationship of residential spatial morphology and CBD spatial development and the importance of its morphological control.(二) Through the study of both domestic and foreign cases, conclude the experience and methodology of CBD residential spatial morphology shaping from both aspects of entire environment forming and residential spatial morphological control.(三) Through fieldwork the researcher analyzes the problems of the residential morphological construction of Pearl River New Town, then summarizes the features on residential morphological construction control of Pearl River New Town, analyzes the main elements which affect the residential morphology.(四) Through the study of Pearl River New Town residential morphology and the summary of case studies the researcher analyzes the outcome, raises the inspiration and advices for the future CBD residential space shaping of our country and investigates to the elements and administrative mechanism of CBD residential spatial morphology control.
