Yangtze River Delta area is the most developed economic region of our country, which has a large aggregate economy and good growth trend. And logistics industry has developed rapidly in the area.Road passenger transportation as the important transportation business in Yangtze River Delta, On the one hand, with the intense competition caused by the development of other forms of transportations such as railway passenger transportation, it is urged to search new development zone; On the other hand, it owns favorable conditions to develop modern logistics, such as advantages of transport management, economies of scope, land resources, etc. So with the interaction of internal and external conditions, it is necessary and qualified to develop modern logistics for the road passenger enterprises in Yangtze River Delta.In the paper, author takes the Yangtze River Delta road passenger transport enterprises as the research object. This paper takes SWOT analysis as the basic research methods, combined with research and analysis, static and dynamic analysis, qualitative analysis and etc. Finding the opportunities and threats faced by modern logistics industry by analyzing the outside surroundings for developing modern logistics industry of Yangtze River Delta road passenger enterprises.
