Study On The Application Of Waste Materials In Landscape Architecture

In recent years, with the rapid socio-economic development and people's rising living standards, the quality of people's living environment has put forward higher requirements. As the landscape has a prominent role to improve the urban ecological environment, so landscape has been unprecedented attention in various cities across the country. However, there are also many problems across the construction of landscape in full swing, resulting in a lot of waste. In 2006, in the context of building a conservation-minded society, a national seminar was held about the conservation-minded landscape in our country, how to build an conservation-minded landscape attracted the attention of the landscape industry across the country, many designers studied on how to building a conservation-minded landscape from the economical land, energy, water, and materials and other parties and practiced it. As an important means, Recycling of waste materials was valued by the general industry. This paper discusses the initial theory of recycling of waste materials in the aspects of the landscape and the transformation of wasteland with examples.This article is divided into six parts:Part I: Introduction Part. The background, significance, methods were presented.Part II: The basic theory of waste material used in landscape. Elaborates the basic concepts and classification of the material and waste material, and analyzes the basic nature of the waste materials in the landscape. Summarizes the related ideas that affected the application of waste materials in landscape.Part III: The principles and methods of using waste materials in the landscape. Analysis the principles and application methods that should be followed when the waste materials was used in the landscape.Part IV: Waste materials were used in the landscape. Through examples, analysis the application of waste materials in the landscape architecture, the way of the wasteland's transformation, and the application of waste materials in the gardening and greening.Part V: Establish the design process of the waste material used in the gardens. Through the establishment of rational design process, standardize the application of material in the Gardens, and to devise appropriate design specifications and standards.Part VI: Conclusion and Outlook. Summarize the application of waste materials in the landscape, and trends the future developments.
