The four core elements of military issues is the mobility, reconnaissance, attack, command, MGIS(Military Geographic Information System)is an important decision-making software system to assist military personnel in the above problem. MGIS space data analysis is not yet very mature currently. In this paper, the spatial analysis theory and applications mainly based on mathematical models and computer algorithms in MGIS is researched. The main aim is to solve mobility and surveillance issues based on the battlefield spatial data through analysis and modeling.The battlefield terrain factors are the Major points,including (1).terrain mobility-access issues, (2). how to do the battlefield reconnaissance-patrol,(3).the topography of the battlefield to obtain intelligence about the advantages of how much-Link depending on issues. Finally the new loss prediction model is proposed for the limitations of the classical Lanchester equations that do not take into account weather, terrain, tactics and other important factors. Steps are as follows:First, the paper studies spatial data structures and computer storage methods, uses ArcGis to converse format, match image, as well as vector-based for the data which is collected, finally, the appropriate projection coordinate system is selected, then the paper get the layers, carry on the further processing through ArcGis spatial analysis module, as well as MATLAB Maps Toolbox;Through analysis the slope, rolling and roughness of the battlefield by ArcGis+ MATLAB, and statistic and distribute the above Analysis results. At last, the paper uses fuzzy rules to inference pass degree of the terrain; By studying the shortest path algorithm and the optimal planning model to solve the battlefield patrol, in a given study maximal area which can be covered by a minimum of patrols, it make patrol can rush to the scene when an accident has happened, the patrol paths in this area have some advantages, for example, it is easy to hid and difficult to be discovered by enemy;The paper solves the issue on how to calculate the coverage about reconnaissance equipment to battlefield terrain by Visibility Algorithm which is based on DEM model and Optimal planning model. So the result is that the ability of battlefield obtains information will faster, more exactly, when the coverage is higher.Finally, the paper gives the solution of the new equation and the method about forecasting war, calculating the residual forces of winner. It uses the instance to prove the model, and designs the functional module of combat consumption. Moreover the paper does further exploration in means and framework of software design. The result shows that this model is feasible; it can judge the losses in course of combat more accurate and effective.
