| Shekou ferry passenger industry began in 1981, after nearly 28 years of development and adjustment, is now open Shekou to Hong Kong, Shekou to Hong Kong Airport, Shekou to Macau, Shekou to Zhuhai four passenger ferrys and the tourist routes of Neilingding Island. Among them, the most advantageous and promising route is Shekou-Hong Kong Airport route. Now the country's continuing implementation of the liberal immigration policy, provides a good policy environment to Shekou-Hong Kong Airport route.The route since it opened in September 2003 to 2007, annual passenger traffic increased steadily.
