The Study On The Tectonic Of The Urban Landscape Space

Urban landscape is an important component of urban space. It is not only providing people with outdoor living space, but also contenting the spiritual needs of the aesthetic requirement. The design of the current urban landscape design is often only considering surface of the decorative effect, neglecting the material in the construction process adaptability to environment and how the material expressing spatial effects with the structure and constructed way. Therefore, this article attempts to introduce the study of tectonic, which is one of architectural design theory, into the urban landscape design.First of all, the article explains the concept of the "urban landscape space", which will be divided into streets, squares, waterfront and scenic space type. The article studies the tectonic theory of urban landscape space in the point of view that how to organize and construct of the expression different materials to express the spatial effects.Secondly, the article analyzed and summarized the effects to the landscape space in different construction and structure way with two materials, which are block material and bar material. The article summed up the spatial effects that the landscape space, which divided into a the street space, square space, waterfront and scenic landscape of space and other types of space, as the method to organize and construction materials. The article also proposed the principle of tectonic which is corresponding environmental comfort, reasonable functionality, the form of artistic. And the article proposed corresponding tectonic methods.Finally, the author combined the actual case-Shehuo plaza design in Yan'an Mountain Park to apply and validate the theory of tectonic of the urban landscape.
