Streets are the frames of a town, linking the town's different function area. The street landscape shows the development of a town's economy, politics and cultures, being the image of a town. At the same time, it is a very important place for people to recognize a small town, and it is also the direct represent its comprehensive strength and a faithful witness of a town's history development. However, the studies on small town's street landscape design have not been paid much attention, lacking deep and system analysis and studies.In this paper, the concepts of the small town streets design, street landscape theory have been studied, beginning with small town historical process street landscape, analyzes the characteristics of street landscape of small towns. And comprehensively analysis the street landscape of Xiong County of Baoding. Design the street landscape of Xiong County of baoding.The main contents include the following:In the first part, the small town and its street landscape design theory were set in more detail, including the concept and the characteristics of a small town; the concept of the small town street landscape, constitute elements, role and scenic design; the study of the theories in China and abstreet. In the second part, from the historical evolvement process between small town street landscape and the city street landscape, analysis the characteristics of the small town landscape. In the third part, on the basis of the present street landscape of Xiong County of Baoding and combines the landscape design theory, study the landscape design direction of Xiong County, design principles and design ways. In the fourth part, aim at the present status and problems of the street landscape of Xiong County of Baoding, make the landscape design and create a beautiful, ecological, with local characteristics view of the landscape environment.Finally, through the study on the street landscape of small towns and the design on the street landscape of Xiong County, hope to make an indicator of the small town street landscape construction in future.
