ANSYS software is developed by the company named ansys in the USA as a well-known large-scale finite analysis software.It can help us to solve many complicated and abstract engineering problems.However,as a general purpose finite element software,ANSYS can not directly adress the problem with a certain depth in the professional field.Generally,these problems have a high requirement on the user's mechanics,finite element knowledge and engineering experience.For the caculation of the wind response of structure,it always be very complicated and it has more than one computational method. So it is urgent to develop the software package which can solve the problem of wind response of the structure,and the package is in the environment of the secondary development of the ansys software.This review based on the description of the knowledge of wind engineering of structure and wind-induced caculation method to use the secondary development interface provided by ansys software,using APDL,UIDL language to develop the menu moduels and the computational analysis moduels based on ANSYS software and combine them together.Meanwhile,in order to allow users to familiarize themselves with the use of software,also develop the help file and make a good link between it with ANSYS software,so the uses can call it any time.This software package provide five kinds of computational method andonly needs the user loading the model and enter the parameters then the response value can be caculated by the software.Compared with the previous resultsshow that the package meets the engineering precision.This review not only develop the package which can caculate wind response of the structure and also basic summarize the method and process of the secondary development of ansys software,so it can be the reference for the future work of the secondary development of ANSYS.
